Thoranegedara Al
Irshad Muslim School is a landmark
of Thoranegedara village. This school is under the Giriulla educational zone of North Western Sri Lanka.
School
has two buildings, a playground, a small mosque and a well in its premises. Mr.
Atham Lebbe is the principal of Thoranegedara
Al-Irshad Muslim school and he has a staff of ten teachers and two non-academic
employees. School sport meet is held annually with the participation of
teachers, students, parents, and old students.
Although this school has a few years of history, this school is to
be a one of the best resources available in the village. Al-Ihsan Youth Society
has a special concern on developing the status of this school.
